We are Stars!

We already know in P1 that we are stars!  We were also learning about the stars in space as part of our 'Space' topic.  The P1 children were learning that stars can be blue, white, yellow or red.  To help us remember, we decorated star-shaped shortbread using blue, white, yellow and red icing.

The Planets in Our Solar System

As part of their topic 'Space', P1 were learning about how the planets move around the sun in our solar system. The children enjoyed being one of the planets and having to walk around the sun. They learnt that Mercury makes a full orbit of the sun in the least amount of time (88 days) and it takes Neptune the longest length of time (165 Earth years).

TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC

The boys and girls in P1 enjoyed finishing off their Toys and Bears topic by bringing their teddies to the Teddy Bear Picnic.  They enjoyed eating some nice sweets and treats with their teddy bears and singing some songs.
