We loved learning the words and actions to ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’. We hope you enjoy our performance! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 🎄🎅🏼
P5 Technology Club
For their Christmas-themed Technology Club, P5 made festive creations from Lego. Some excellent, creative ideas!
Playing Literacy Games
We made some festive pictures by tearing strips of coloured paper and using them to make multicoloured Christmas trees. We then added glitter, stars, snowflakes and even some presents!

DITCH THE DARK DAY
Monday 9th November 2020 was ‘Ditch the Dark Day’. We watched a video from Dave at Sustrans telling us about the importance of wearing bright clothing to be seen in the dark. We also talked about healthy ways of travelling to school and designed a bike and some clothing for a cyclist so they could ‘Be Safe, Be Seen’.
Planting Our Bulbs
P4/5 have planted some daffodil and crocus bulbs as part of the Edina Trust Bulb Project. Every day we will check the temperature and rainfall and watch as our flowers start to grow! 🌸
National Poetry Day
P4/5 learned and recited Kenn Nesbitt’s poem, ‘I Don’t Know What To Do Today’ for National Poetry Day. We decided on actions to go with the words of the poem. We hope you enjoy our performance!
I don’t know what to do today. Perhaps I’ll go outside and play, or stay indoors and watch TV, or take a bath, or climb a tree.
Or maybe I’ll go ride my bike, or pick my nose, or take a hike, or jump a rope, or scratch my head, or play a game, or stay in bed, or dance a jig, or pet the cat, or drink some milk, or buy a hat, or sing a song, or read a book, or change my socks, or learn to cook, or dig a hole, or eat a pear, or call my friends, or brush my hair, or hold my breath, or have a race, or stand around and slap my face.
I’m so confused, and bored, and blue, to not know what I ought to do. I guess that I should just ask you. So, what do you think I should do?
