Healthy Start

Healthy Start:

Just a sign post for anyone who may be eligible:

You could be eligible for NHS Healthy Start if you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or you have at least one child aged under four.

In addition, you must be receiving any of the following:

• Universal Credit (if your family’s take home pay is £408 or less per month from employment)

• Income Support

• Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance

• Pension Credit (which includes the child addition)

You will also be eligible for NHS Healthy Start if:

• you’re under 18 and more than 10 weeks pregnant, even if you are not claiming any benefits

• you claim income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and are more than 10 weeks pregnant

Help prepare your child for learning (Ages 0-4) Top Tips for Parents. A very warm welcome to Bessbrook PS - Nursery Unit. We are very excited about the year ahead and are looking forward to getting to know you and your child in the days and weeks to come. As we get started on the road to learning, we would encourage you to be involved and to help and support your child's learning and development.
