ICT IN LITERACY

This week Miss Smyth set us all the task of using ICT during our literacy, we decided to create our own avatars and then complete a book review on something we have read recently. It was a lot of fun!

Pancake Tuesday!

We had lots of fun with pancakes on Tuesday. We enjoyed flipping the bean bag to spell our spellings and find out the mystery of who ate all of Miss Adamson's pancakes in a numeracy mystery! But our favourite part had to be eating the delicious pancakes!

Practical Numeracy

We have loved practically working on mental math and numeracy concepts.

Drawing on the table is always a hit (Don't tell Mrs Hunter ).

Electricity

We have loved using circuit equipment this week during world around us. We have enjoyed learning about the importance of the circuit being complete to ensure the light bulb would light up.

Merry Christmas From P5/6

Santa Visit

P5 had a surprise visitor in assembly on Wednesday after break! All is in order with them all being placed on the nice list even Miss Adamson and Christine have made it .

Polar Express Day!

In Primary 5/6 Miss Adamson agreed to a Polar Express day after very impressive and persuasive letters written by the children.

The children enjoyed completing tasks to earn special treats to have during the movie.

Gardening with Kieran!

We had a brilliant time gardening with Kieran, his knowledge on all things plants and bees was fascinating! We really enjoyed making our pots to help bees and pollination.

Fun with phonics!

We have been trying new ways to learn our phonics during the week. We have had lots of fun exploring our new ways and I think the messy paint was the most popular.
