🚗🚲 Our Transport Topic Adventure! 🚲🚗

We have been having so much fun while learning all about transport! Working together in teams, we researched the inspiring cyclist Annie Londonderry and discovered her incredible journey around the world.

In Science, we became investigators by exploring how different materials affect the speed of our toy cars. We also designed and made our own apple boats, testing whether they would float or sink. There were lots of exciting predictions, teamwork, and discoveries along the way!

In Numeracy, we have been working hard while enjoying fun and engaging activities that challenge our thinking and problem-solving skills.

In Literacy, we loved reading 'Mrs Armitage on Wheels!' and worked collaboratively to act out different parts of the story. It was wonderful to bring the characters and events to life through drama.

We have also been enjoying developing our skills in PE, taking part in activities that help us build coordination, teamwork, confidence, and resilience while having lots of fun!

As the seasons change, we have started exploring the signs of Autumn and created some beautiful autumnal artwork inspired by the colours, textures, and changes we can see around us.

We are so proud of how well everyone has worked together, shared ideas, and supported one another throughout our learning. What a fantastic few weeks of teamwork, creativity, active learning, and fun! 🌟🚗📚🔬🍎⛵🍂🎨🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🚲

🌟 Busy Learning in P2/3! 🌟

Our P2/3 class has been working incredibly hard over the past few weeks! We have been developing our skills in literacy and numeracy through a range of fun and engaging group activities. The children have shown great teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills as they worked together. 

As part of our World Around Us topic on Transport, we have been exploring different types of transport through research, discussion and creative tasks. We have also enjoyed creating some fantastic transport-themed artwork, showcasing our creativity and imagination.

There has been plenty of outdoor learning too, with lots of opportunities to explore, play and learn in the fresh air. The smiles on the children's faces show just how much fun they have been having!

It has been a fantastic start to the new school year, with everyone settling back into school life and having lots of fun along the way! 🥰📚

We have been busy learning across Literacy, Numeracy and World Around Us, with our current topic of Transport providing lots of exciting opportunities for cross-curricular learning. 🚗🚌✈️🚂

From exploring different types of transport to getting creative, solving problems and developing our skills, there has been lots of learning, laughter and teamwork happening in our classroom! 💡✨

It is wonderful to see everyone back, happy, engaged and ready to learn. We are looking forward to all the adventures and learning opportunities still to come! ❤️
